Dr. Constance Heidt obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan where she received training and clinical experience with various populations across several settings. She completed her predoctoral residency through the Saskatchewan Health Authority in both Saskatoon and Prince Albert focused on individual and group psychotherapy with children and adults and assessment with adolescents and adults in both urban and more northern communities. Dr. Heidt began her career in Saskatchewan providing in-person and virtual assessment, treatment, and consultation services to children, adolescents, parents, and adults from across the province in urban, rural, and northern settings.
Dr. Heidt uses a collaborative approach to provide service to clients that focuses on their individual needs and cultural preferences while ensuring the treatment and techniques are proven effective with the presenting concern. She understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship and strives to ensure that her clients feel heard and understood. Dr. Heidt uses an integrative approach including cognitive-behavioural, acceptance and commitment, dialectical behavioural therapy, and collaborative problem-solving approach.

Dr. Heidt is now offering direct billing services for those covered by Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Green Shield, and Canada Life.
