Dr. Delaine Shackleton obtainer her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in March 2021 from the University of Regina, SK. She completed her pre-doctoral residency training in Waterloo, ON, and has worked in assessment and treatment settings in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. Dr. Shakleton has applied for registration with the College of Psychologists of BC.
Dr. Delaine Shackleton primarily works with adults and adolescents. Her theoretical approach to assessment and intervention is evidence-based and an integrative approach that heavily draws upon cognitive-behavioural theory and the biopsychosocial model of mental health. Her interest in the mind-body-behaviour relationship has developed into an overarching and holistic biopsychosocial approach to the provision of health services. Dr. Shackleton has a supervised practice and works under the supervision of Dr. Maya Libben, R. Psych. #2167. There are special insurance considerations when choosing Dr. Delaine Shackleton as your clinician, and our administrative team can aid you in seeking approval under her supervisory arrangement with Dr. Libben, a Registered Psychologist. Whenever possible we try to arrange for direct billing. We have submitted a request for direct billing with RCMP Health Services and will advise members seeking treatment with this clinician.
