Dr. Rachelle Dominelli is a Registered Psychologist in the province of British Columbia. She has extensive training in clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Dominelli completed her Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Her pre-doctoral internship at The Ottawa Hospital included primary rotations in Acute Care Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation Neuropsychology, and breadth exposure in Clinical and Health Psychology. She has provided services to adults in diverse practice settings including community mental health, hospital-based services, and rehabilitation programs.
Dr. Dominelli's areas of clinical expertise include anxiety, depression, eating disorders and post-concussive symptoms. She draws from a number of theoretical perspectives such as cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and interpersonal methods. She works collaboratively with clients to meet their therapy goals.
Dr. Dominelli provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessment services to adults and members in the geriatric population with psychological and medical conditions impacting cognitive functioning. She aims to tailor the assessment process to individual client needs, and referral questions. Following the testing session(s), she provides feedback regarding cognitive strengths and weaknesses and practical recommendations to improve daily functioning.
Dr. Dominelli now offers direct billing for those covered by Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Green Shield, and Canada Life.
