Lucy Snider comes to KPG with ten years of clinical experience treating adults and teenagers. She is currently in mid-transfer to BC as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). As she awaits her transfer, in the interim new referral patients have the dual advantage of seeing her, with consult and support from one of our registered psychologists signing off on services as supervisor. As the newest member of our team, she can respond to urgent referrals very quickly.
Lucy Snider is well versed in individual, family, and couple’s counselling. She is pleased to provide CBT treatments (including DBT, mindfulness, relaxation, graduated exposure) for symptoms of anxiety, depression, workplace stress, family issues, grief, sleep disorders, Crime Victims Assistance approved clients, and ICBC personal injury treatment.
She also has significant training and experience in sexual difficulties for individuals and couples. She has extensive experience working in the field of sexual health, education and helping people to process sexual identity in healthy ways. Lucy Snider is originally from the UK and has over 10 years’ experience working in London, England. We are so pleased she has chosen to join us. She has worked with the British National Health Service (NHS) and as a private clinician. She received her master’s degree in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy from the renowned Tavistock Relationships Centre in London and her Undergraduate Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and an Advanced Diploma in Couples Therapy.
Lucy Snider works with our team of providers, as necessary, with your permission. She prides herself in empowering her clients to realize their goals and find peace and happiness. She is approachable, and thoughtful in co-authoring a care plan with you. Your priorities are honored, as she walks with you to choose your path to personal satisfaction. She provides a safe, non-judgemental, positive space for you to freely explore your thoughts and feelings. She uses a collaborative approach to facilitate the most effective therapy for each individual client.
